PURPLE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!!!!!! Because New Years Day is so boring...

I re-decorated my blog again. It's very purpley. You like? Or... not?

I've taken a vacation from Celebrity Days till the semester starts again...because it was Christmas vacation!! Haha.

I do want to blog about what I got for Christmas... But right now I have to go do laundry, so I will do that later.

I'm away laughing on a fast camel.

Peter Facinelli Friday

I know, I know, my blog is very BLAH lately. I wrote a song about Toby, I'll post it. But here's this, for Lila and Sharise, anyway.

Johnny Depp Monday

This is Johnny with.... I almost said "his wife and kids," but they aren't married. Starting over:

This is Johnny with his long-time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and their two children, Lily-Rose and Jack (and some random lady who's holding Lily...)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

It's a Friday night. So what do we do? Go out? Never! We make gingerbread houses!

This one's mine:

This one's Gwen's: It's kinda retarded because her frosting didn't work.
This is both of them. They are neighbors.

(Peter) Facinelli Friday

Last night, Lila suggested to me that I do Peter Facinelli Friday on my blog, to go along with the Johnny Depp Monday. For those of you who don't know, Peter Facinelli plays Carlisle Cullen, the vampire father, in the new movie "Twilight."

It is an odd coincidence...........

Does anyone else see the connection here?????

Pity Party

You know, I really feel bad for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (stars of the new blockbuster "Twilight"). Their lives just EXPLODED! Stephenie Meyer (author of the Twilight book series), as at least had a few years to get used to fame, to get used to being screamed at by fangirls and decibel levels usually reserved for boy bands. Rob and Kristen just had all this thrown at them, and they don't like it. I think if I ever meet them, I'll be very mellow. Just to give them a tiny little break from the madness.

Johnny Depp Monday Squared

Brand new picture of Johnny as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's new film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.

Before you go all, "Aaah!" Consider this: "HE IS NOT MAKING A *DARKER* VERSION YOU NINCOMPOOP!!!
Lewis Carroll's work was dark to begin with. If anything, he's just interpreting it correctly." That's something someone said on the website where I found the picture.

Johnny Depp Monday (+ Tim Burton)

I've also decided that I'll do other days for other people... Like a Gerry Butler Tuesday or something like that. Ha ha. Anyway, here's this.

And coming soon....

"One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you'd be stricken blind."

...but once you were blind, you wouldn't be able to see the pictures anyway... But that's beside the point.

This is some guy's breakfast.... I think his name is Trevor. He's in my ward. Anyway, he put his food down and then left to get something. I thought his food looked so awesome, so I took a picture of it.
I didn't know I took this one until I was uploading pictures to the computer. But I think it looks rather awesome.

It was very foggy yesterday morning, it was AWESOME!! I love fog. Very Northern CA/London/Forks.

'cause we're cool like that...

So, at SUU, we have quite a few Steinway pianos:

Yeah, that's his signature. In our piano. Yeah, we're cool like that.

This is how I felt when...

I had set up my dorm room and had nothing to do and no one to talk to:

(The Past Is Another Land, from Aida)

You know nothing about me and care even less
How could you understand our emptiness
You've plundered our wisdom, our knowledge, our wealth
In bleeding us dry
You long for our spirit
But that you will never possess

The past is now another land
Far beyond my reach
Invaded by insidious
Foreign bodies, foreign speech
Where timeless joys of childhood
Lie broken on the beach

The present is an empty space
Between the good and bad
A moment leading nowhere
Too pointless to be sad
But time enough to lay to waste
Every certainty I had

The future is a barren world
From which I can't return
Both heartless and material
Its wretched spoils not my concern
Shining like an evil sun
As my childhood treasures burn
Shining like an evil sun
As my childhood treasures burn

So it begins...

Today I started my regime of eating more healthy foods and less junky foods.

This was my dinner. I felt very proud of myself for getting water and not Dr. Pepper.

Of course, it did go downhill a little bit at dessert, but it's dessert, so it doesn't count, because I didn't go overboard or anything.

Johnny Depp Monday

So... I found this on another blog, and I think I'm going to carry it on. It's called Johnny Depp Monday. And basically all it is is I post a picture of Johnny every Monday. Now, I know it isn't Monday yet, but it will be in 15 minutes, so I figure this counts.

More Halloween Pictures:

Me and the REAL Cap'n Jack. Except I messed up the pose. I still can't believe I did that....

Me and a VERY wannabe Cap'n Jack. He was nice though.

Me and Jess as Indy. Which is so completely perfect that I can't even imagine anything else so perfect.

I Can Haz Cheezburger?

There's this really funny website called "I Can Haz Cheezburger" or "LOLcats," and it's just a bunch of hilarious pictures of cats with funny captions. So I decided to get some for your enjoyment. The only thing that irritates me is the spelling, but that kind of adds to it too.

HISTORY

Election Day

I have no idea what order these pictures are in, so excuse the randomness of the story.
Anyway, these are my adventures from Election Day (so far)

This is the Living Room. It's all fancy decorated and the TV will be on till midnight covering the election results/stuff.

Look who I met!! A cardboard standup! Highlight of my life!!!!

I also (FINALLY) sold my iPod Touch. And I got monies. Yay!

Look who else I met! Another cardboard standup!!!

I was walking back from....South Hall, and I found this poor worm. So I moved him off the sidewalk onto a little bit of dirt by the grass. I hope he made it and didn't die!

I voted!

This morning, my alarm went off at 6:40 am, 1 hour and 5 minutes earlier than normal. My first thought, after, "Oh, dang, that's loud, better turn it off," was "It's to dark to walk anywhere at 7:10 in the morning!" Then, "Oh, right, daylight savings time." So I got up, and got dressed, and made sure I had all my stuff in my bag. Then Gwen, Taylor, and I trooped out the door and down the street to the elementary school. On the way, we passed a friendly old lady going the opposite direction. "You going to vote?" she said, with a little punch of her fist in the air. "Yep," we all replied, rather tiredly. When we got to the school, there was no line. We all stepped up to a different "polling lady," (as i called them.) They reminded me of the ladies who work in the temple, all old and nice and very willing to help. They got us all set up and sent us to work. We voted. And the rest, as they say, is history.

All Saints Day

I went exploring in the library, which was a big deal for me, as I never go in there. It's sweet, though, and I've decided that's going to be where I go from now on to do stuff. Like homework, and write my book. Or even watch old episodes of Lost on the internet, because you can basically do whatever you want in there, within reason, and no one disturbs you or questions what you're doing. It's quite pleasant. And we have a very nice library, if I do say so myself. Even if it is kind of small. That's the kind of university it is.

This is, DUH, the books.

This is the view out a random window. I thought it was cool that you can see all the way to the horizon.

I found a weird edition of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It didn't have the same cover at all, it looked really old. It was very confusing to me.

Saturday night I made a countdown to the end of the semester. It was fun. And it makes me happy.

All Hallows Eve

As promised, the Halloween post.

Me, in all my Cap'n Jack Sparra glory

We went for a walk, and this was the price of gas:

Then we came back and ate candy and watched signs.
I had M&Ms, and they came out like stoplights and in Halloween colors. It was cool.

Then we all got dressed up and went to the Howl. It was pretty cool.

left to right: Me, Hannah, Taylor, Katelin, Bradley (I did his makeup), and "Gwendolyn the Librarian." (meant to be sung to the tune of Marian the Librarian.)

Time Machine

(don't worry, Halloween post coming soon.)

It is currently 1:05 am on Sunday November 2. Except it was already 1:05 am on Sunday November 2nd. I am currently experiencing the same minute for the second time. Which is weird.

I happened to be on my computer when the clock went from 1:59 am to 1:00 am. Probably one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. On the flippy side, I get an extra hour to sleep, if you want to think of it that way, because as far as I'm concerned it's still 2 in the morning, but when I wake up, it will be whatever time it's supposed to be.

And now I'm making no sense at all so I'm going to bed.

Every day is a winding road: Edition: College 1.1

Meant to be read while listening to Cheryl Crow's "Every Day is a Winding Road:"

I hitched a ride home with a guy from my Math class
He says he’s been down this road more than twice
He was high on intellectualism
I’ve never been there but the brochure looks nice
Jump in, let’s go
Lay back, enjoy the show
Everybody gets high, everybody gets low,
These are the days when anything goes
[Chorus]
Everyday is a winding road
I get a little bit closer
Everyday is new exam
I get a little bit closer to feeling fine
He’s got a girlfriend he calls Kitty
But she’s actually allergic to cats
I’m just wondering why I feel so all alone
Why I’m a stranger in my own life
Jump in, let's go
Lay back, enjoy the show
Everybody gets high, everybody gets low
These are the days when anything goes
[Chorus]
I’ve been swimming in a sea of anarchy
I’ve been living on Ramen and Lucky Charms
I've been wondering if all the things I've seen
Were ever real, were ever really happening
[Chorus]

Stuff

These are some pictures that mom took on her and dad's trip to Oregon, and I played with them because I thought they looked cool.

This is just a road. I like pictures of the road. It reminds me of tour.

This is the car they rented(?) and the white plane is the one they flew home in...

...and this is my version of the picture. I'm not sure why, I just really like the harsh lighting and stuff.

This is a freaking sweet mug that I saw. I thought of all my moms and aunts who breastfeed their babies. Er... except I only have one mom. But you get the picture.

And this is where I work. I was just thinking that no one knows what my work looks like. So here you go.
